10 Things You Didn’t Know about Kevin Hart

Get ready to laugh out loud, because comedian Kevin Hart is coming to East Lansing this week.

Hart will bring his What Now? Tour to the Breslin Center on the campus of Michigan State University on Tuesday.

“Kevin Hart’s brand of comedy is known for being very relatable, especially to young people,” said Samuel Noss, director of public relations for the Associated Students of Michigan State University, which is sponsoring the show along with the university’s Residence Halls Association. “I think his ability to reach multiple age groups, including college students, is what makes him a great fit for playing Michigan State.”

“The main motive for bringing Kevin Hart to campus was finding an event that a majority of people would enjoy, and as I mentioned, his comedy is really well received by a variety of age groups,” Noss added. “The level of excitement surrounding Kevin Hart coming to campus is certainly meeting and exceeding any level that we could have hoped for.”

Hart is known for his stand-up comedy and acting in feature films such as “Think Like a Man,” “Grudge Match,” “Ride Along,” “About Last Night,” “The Wedding Ringer” and “Get Hard.” He can also be spotted on BET’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood.”

1. He’s all about uniting people with comedy.

No matter what bit he might be doing, whether it’s about black, white, or people of other races his whole message is about unity and he wants to escape labels.

Once again, he might not be your favorite comedian but he is pretty funny.

2. His attempts at comedy began when he was around 11.

Kevin relayed a story about his mother going to whup him with a belt when he decided to say something funny. Apparently, she started laughing and couldn’t stop, so he figured if he could get out of a whooping with comedy it was worth it.
